Frequently Asked Questions

A list of the most common questions that we get.

How long have you been in the construction industry?

We have been in the construction industry in SW Florida for over 15 years. Our company was founded in 2009.

Yes. We are licensed by the State of Florida as a State Certified General Contractor. We also hold liability, workers comp and auto insurance policies with an A+ rated company. We are also able to obtain bonding should your project require it.

It all depends on the extent of the work being done. If you’re just remodeling your kitchen, it takes on average about 4-6 weeks. If you are going to tear everything out down to the studs and concrete, it can take 6+ months.

We can typically build a new home in 6-8 months once the building permit is issued. However, some municipalities can take 30+ days to issue a CO before you can move in.

It depends on the municipality; some are faster than others at processing permits. Most will take anywhere from 2-4 months to review and issue a building permit. We have no control over the time it takes a building department to issue a permit.

Yes. Many of our clients are seasonal residents, who have us work while they are up North.

There are many factors to that answer. First and foremost, is location. You can always change the way a building looks and feels, but you can’t change its location. If you love where you are but not how it looks, remodel is the way to go.

Another major consideration is impact fees. You will pay impact fees on new construction, but not a remodel. This can be a substantial savings.

Absolutely. Give us a call and we’ll be happy to meet with you to find out what you’d like to do and help you develop a personalized plan of action.

The first step is drawings – everything about your project will be based off that. If it’s a smaller job where drawings aren’t necessary, picking out your trim and finish materials is the first step.

When planning, you have to start at the end and work your way back. The trim & finish materials you pick will dictate the materials needed behind the drywall, under the floor, etc.

We can repair the damage your claim covers after you have reached a settlement with your insurance company. We do not provide quotes for insurance claims.
