April 2010 Lehigh Acres, FL – Replaced the pilings holding a stilt home in Lehigh Acres, FL. The posts replaced were rotting and the structure was no longer physically attached to the pilings.
The home was stabilized with shoring posts and then the old pilings were removed. After removing the pilings, concrete was cut in a 2′ x 2′ x 2′ deep square. The existing concrete floor was then drilled and rebar was epoxied to form a structural footer.
Footers were poured with high strength 3000 PSI fiber mesh with structural buckets embedded to carry posts.
