Alva Custom Home
This custom home in Alva, FL was designed to keep the existing oak trees in place. Using our Sawgrass II plans as a starting point, these homeowners were able to have the plans reworked to fit their property. The orientation of the garage was changed from a front-load to a side-load garage. Doing that allowed for a bigger front porch and bigger laundry room, with a walk-in pantry and desk area. The back porch was redesigned to run the entire length of the house.
This home features Mantra all-wood, soft close cabinets. Cambria countertops in the kitchen and granite countertops in the bathrooms and laundry room. Luxury vinyl plank flooring and tile floors throughout the house make for easy maintenance and longevity.
This home was under construction during Hurricane Ian and sustained no damage. With impact windows & doors, the homeowners will have easy hurricane prep before the next storm.
