Naples Kitchen Remodel

Naples Yacht Harbor Manor

Located on a peninsula between Moorings Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, Naples Yacht Harbor is on one of our favorite spots. While the views may be spectacular, these condos are showing their age. This is one of several condos we’ve remodeled in this building and the results are always dramatic.

For this remodel, we completely gutted the kitchen and living area. Once all of the walls were removed, including the dropped-dome kitchen ceiling, we re-framed the kitchen for a new layout. Since the footprint is small, we had to make the most use of the space. A new wrap-around bar area was added where a wall previously stood. This allowed us to give the owner considerable more counter-space and open the kitchen to the living area.

With the removal of the washer and dryer from the kitchen, we were able to move the refrigerator and take advantage of the additional space along the back wall to install floor to ceiling pantry cabinets. This also allowed us to extend the countertop on the other side of the range, creating more prep space for cooking.

The space was repainted and new flooring installed. Along with Starmark Cabinetry in a Natural Maple finish. The owner, a professional artist, hand-painted the tiles for the backsplash. Light colored granite countertops were installed. The neutral finishes gave the space a bright and open atmosphere; which made it the now perfect place to showcase some of her art.
