Entire Community Gets a Makeover

This condo community in South Fort Myers was in need of some extra TLC after years of deferred maintenance. Spread out over three phases, the exterior renovation of 9 buildings, carports, and garages was initially a two year project. Each building presented it’s own unique challenges. Once the old T1-11 siding was taken off, there was no telling what we would find. Many buildings required additional structurally repairs beyond what could be seen initially.

All of the buildings were “re-wrapped” with Zipwall and Hardiboard siding for durability. We also repaired and/or replaced the aluminum screen changes, gutters, doors and stucco. It was a constant flow of work and challenges.

In addition to all of this, Hurricane Irma rolled through in the middle of this project. Thankfully the damage was minor. However, it did add some additional repairs to the project.

Despite the unique challenges of a job this size, and a Hurricane, we were still able to complete this project 6-months early!
