West Gulf Drive Condo Remodel
This remodel on Sanibel Island took this condo from dark and dated to bright and modern. The entire unit was completely gutted and put back together. The kitchen was reconfigured to give it a more open layout. While we couldn’t completely get rid of it, we were able to reduce the header in the kitchen and give it a flat ceiling with lots of LED can lights, instead of the old wallpapered dropped ceiling with florescent lighting. The white cabinets from Starmark make this an inviting and beach-y kitchen.
Once the cabinets were removed from the guest bathroom, we were able to frame in a couple of walls to create a water closet for extra privacy. Beautiful, floating, Walnut cabinets from Starmark were installed in the new space.
In the half bath, we got rid of the wrap around ledge that went the entire length of the bathroom and replaced it with a pedestal sink and whimsical sea-life wallpaper.
The master bathroom was completely reconfigured to remove and old tub with mirror surround. The shower was moved out of the water closet and into the space formally occupied by the time. This allowed us to make the shower bigger and give true privacy to the water closet. This bathroom also got new Walnut cabinets from Starkmark.
Throughout the rest of the condo, all the flooring was replaced and all new drywall and paint.

We remodeled an entire 3 bedroom condo on Sanibel. We remodeled 2 1/2 baths including building new walls and installing new showers, new vanities, new sinks, and new floors. We gutted and reconfigured our entire kitchen. We raised and lowered ceilings including new ductwork. We gutted the entire condo. So let me start out by admitting that I am a perfectionist. All I can say is that Jacob from Olde Florida Contracting did an excellent job. The workmanship of his contractors was exceptional. He met an unreasonable deadline and did it with a smile. He never went over budget unless it was a change at our request. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to anyone I know.
